We are supposed to get some snow off the Rockies tonight. Not enough to close school, but maybe enough for some icy roads. I hope my outside cats can stay warm. I fix up little beds for them, but they sleep where they choose to sleep. I worry about them and sneak downstairs on really cold nights to see if I can lure them into the mud porch and shoo them out before C wakes up. We don't need them competing with the inside cats. LOL
We watched Season Four of Big Love this weekend while I worked on my 30-page paper. I know this will be worth the time, money, and effort when my students can call me Dr. Bunny Goat, but it sure is a slow and tedious process. Of course, I won't ever ask the students to call me "Doctor," because labels just aren't that important to me, and I'd rather be their partner in learning than their teacher or, more importantly, their vice president. In any case, back to Big Love . . . it was depressing, and I won't give the end away, but I needed to watch Home Alone or something to pick me back up. : (
I'm about to go to Austin for a meeting, then I leave two days later for Atlanta for the First Year Experience conference, and right after that I go back to Austin and then to San Diego for some distance learning certifications. This is the time of the year when I do a great deal of traveling, and by spring break, I'm exhausted.
Apparently we are going to watch Silence of the Lambs to bring us back up after Big Love. LOL
I'll keep you posted on the snow. Cross your fingers because I might get to spend tomorrow crafting. By the way, happy birthday to D, K's dad.
