What's a Bunny Goat?

I'm a professional administrator at a college, a mother of two incredible children, the luckiest wife on the planet (wait until you see my closet and my craft room!), a scrapbooker, a novelist (in training), a teacher, and a mom to a dog and two cats. I love Pearl Jam, Anne Tyler, "Young Goodman Brown," the color pink, and any strand of pearls that has ever been strung. I'm a former ballerina, now on a perpetual diet, but it's been almost a year since I quit smoking. Yay me! Now . . . to tackle those thirty pounds.

Cleaning after the Holidays

Today I worked on taking down my garland and candles, and I took pictures of my mantles to make sure I could duplicate them next year if I want to. They were really beautiful, and it made me happy to turn on the lights and light the candles. I wish the holidays lasted all year long. I wonder why the garland decor hasn't caught on for other times of the year. I have decided to consider making garland for my craft room that I can hang all year and light up.

I have today and tomorrow to get the house back in order before I go back to work. By the end of this week, I want to have finished one section of my KAM, so I need the weekend to work on it rather than going to town and doing anything frivolous.
